Environmental Policy
ClubTurf accepts that the basis of environmental concern is a healthy respect for others. All of us will strive to minimise any disturbances to the local and global environment and to the quality of life of the local communities in which we operate.
- We will strive to continually improve our environmental performance and prevention of pollution
- We will comply fully at all times with all statutory regulations relating to our operations
- We will at all times maintain our premises to the highest practical standard
- We will take positive steps to conserve resources and we will not deliberately destroy resources
- We will continually assess the environmental effects of all of our activities and any new developments and set and review targets and objectives to minimise the effect on the environment
- We will advise our customers and our subcontractors on the best environmental methods so as to avoid unacceptable effects on the environment
- We will strive to ensure that waste is disposed of with the least effect on the environment and recycled or reused where possible
- We will at all times ensure that our staff have the necessary training, information, systems and authority to minimise the effects of our activities on the environment
This means to our staff that all activities will be carried out with the best possible practice to minimise the overall effect on the environment.
Our key environmental objectives and targets over the next 12 months are to:
- Make all of our staff aware of our environmental impact and to empower them to reduce it.
- Reduce the fuel usage and other consumables by at least 10%.
- Set up a waste management assessment system and keep the waste which is not reused to a minimum.
- Be aware of the effect of our work on the flora and fauna and adopt working practices which keep it to a minimum.
