The Use of Cricket Spikes
ClubTurf is probably more spike resistant than any other artificial grass, but it is not spike proof. The wearing of spikes introduces a possible risk of tearing and certainly a wear hazard that would otherwise not be there.
In our opinion it is not necessary for a bowler to wear spikes on ClubTurf as the surface provides more traction (grip) than natural grass.
